Library. It's our goal to create a resource-rich library for all of our
students. We want to encourage our students to become life-long
readers. Providing students with access to current, popular teen
fiction, and current non-fiction will help us create these life-long
readers. I believe that a donation of even one book, over time,
will help hundreds of students improve their reading skills and increase
their overall love of reading.

All books will be reviewed and evaluated before being placed into our
library collection. Books should be geared towards ages 14 and up.
Donated books can be either hardcover or paperback. However, hardcover
books are preferred if possible because of their longer shelf-life. We will also accept gently-used books. Library donation forms are available at the main office or in the library.
- Fiction donations: We are currently accepting recent young adult (teen) books with a publication date of 2013 or later.
Monetary donations: Cash
or check donations are also welcomed. If you are interested in making a
monetary donation, please drop off your donation to the LHS main office
and let the secretary know that your donation is for the library. If
you are writing a check, please make your check payable to Lynden High
School and write "Library Donation" on the notes section of your check.
We will use donated funds to purchase newly published young adult
books, and replace any worn or lost books that are needed in our
